Ridim | Payment App & POS Solution
Responsibilities:
Market research • Requirements definition • Wireframes, mockups, and prototypes • Design and development of the marketing website
Context:
Ridim was designed as a complete payment ecosystem: an iPhone app for end users and an iPad Point-of-Sale application for merchants. The goal was to deliver a seamless real-time crypto payment experience, enhanced with an integrated rewards system.
Approach
Discovery & Analysis
I began with an in-depth review of the payment landscape and competitor offerings. This step allowed us to identify:
-
Core use cases (payment, checkout, history, management, POS)
-
Technical and operational constraints
-
Expectations and pain points for each user type
These insights shaped the product architecture and the first user flows.

Wireframes & Flows
Low-fidelity wireframes were created to quickly define screen structure and content organization. These were then turned into interactive prototypes to:
-
Illustrate key workflows
-
Test multiple interaction patterns
-
Align teams early on UX decisions
Iterative rounds of feedback helped solidify the foundations before moving into visual design.

Final Designs
High-fidelity mockups were developed to establish a modern, clear, and consistent identity across both the iPhone app and the iPad POS solution.
Design priorities included:
-
Strong readability and visual hierarchy
-
Flexible components adapted to each usage context
-
Intuitive navigation despite a rich feature set
-
Visual coherence between mobile and tablet environments
The result: a unified, elegant experience that was easy to adopt for both users and merchants.

Prototype
A high-fidelity interactive prototype was produced to clearly communicate the product’s value to both users and investors. It showcased the primary journeys, demonstrated the fluidity of the experience, and provided a tangible preview of the platform prior to development.
