iPad Magazine

Virgin Tycoon Richard Branson launched what he called « first truly digital » magazine custom made for iPad, using some hardware features such as the accelerometer, gyroscope and camera.

The publication, called Project, is a monthly style and culture magazine that was sold through Apple’s App store.

I was hire to lead the technical team. We developed some highly interactive ads and editorial pieces using HTML 5, CSS3, Webkit animations and Javascript. Some had very impressive animations that was pushing the limits of the iPad at the time, we had to come up with some clever solutions.
